Published specifications
The Zwilling Pro 20 cm is a Western-style chef’s knife with a shaped bolster and riveted handle. The manufacturer page is the source for the construction details in this research note.
What to check in person
The bolster shape is worth trying in a pinch grip. Check where your fingers contact the blade and whether the profile works with your usual cutting motion. I have not tested its comfort over a long prep session.
Buying considerations
Compare the exact size, weight and delivered price with other Western chef’s knives. A familiar brand and a particular bolster design do not establish that it is more comfortable or cuts better for every user.
Care
Hand-wash and dry the knife after use. Use a stable wood or food-grade plastic board and protect the edge in storage. Avoid bones, frozen food and prying. Follow the maker’s sharpening guidance; a single medium-grit stone can be enough to begin routine sharpening. A strop is optional.
